General Plan Designation Change Request
During the General Plan Update the County will collect property-owner requests for changes to General Plan land use designations. The County can only consider requests for property in unincorporated areas of the county (i.e., not within a city). At this time, the County is no longer accepting change requests for consideration as part of the Preferred Alternative selection process. The County will continue accepting change requests for comparison and consideration as part of the Draft General Plan. If you would like to request a change in your property's General Plan land use designation, please use the following FORM. Each request will be thoroughly reviewed and considered by the Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors. Unfortunately, the County can not guarentee that every request will be granted.
